Healing hearts and restoring voices since 2015. Our journey, mission, and the vision that drives us forward.
The Voices of Truth Foundation was born from a personal journey of healing and restoration. Founded in 2015 by Laureta Tindi, the organization began as a small support group for women recovering from trauma and abuse.
Laureta's own experience with trauma and her path to recovery through faith-based counseling revealed a critical gap in support services for survivors. She recognized that many individuals struggled to find safe spaces where they could address both emotional and spiritual aspects of their healing.
What started as weekly gatherings in a community center has grown into a comprehensive foundation serving hundreds of individuals each year. Our evolution reflects the growing need for holistic trauma recovery programs that address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Today, we operate multiple programs across several communities, but our core mission remains unchanged: to provide compassionate, comprehensive support for survivors on their journey to wholeness.
We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their past traumas, feels empowered to share their story and embrace their authentic self, believing in the transformative power of truth as declared in John 8:32— "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
To guide individuals on a journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, drawing strength from the promise in Psalms 147:3— "He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds." Through faith, support, and shared experiences, we aim to cultivate a culture of compassion, understanding, and hope, empowering individuals to reclaim their narratives and boldly walk in their truth.
